Creating and building
I have devised and built various original science demonstrations and exhibit prototypes, two of which have won prizes. I have also built show props for other people, and other more pointless devices such as a pair of floating shoes.

Shows and talks
I have created and performed three science shows (one of which involves me losing all my hair) and contributed to a number of others. I have also delivered some more serious talks about science.

I currently teach with the Open University, where I am a tutor on an introductory maths course. I do studio teaching on the Product Design Engineering degree course at Glasgow School of Art. When I worked at Stirling University I developed and presented the undergraduate unit on Perception.
